Welcome 2017

Happy New Year!! I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. In a world filled with such hate, I can't help but feel so much love.

With a new year starting it is a great time to look to the future. I'm not talking all that "new year, new you" bullshit, I'm talking about your goals to accomplish in your life. As I have said this is one of my goals. I want to be an open book. I want people to know what infertility is all about. When it's about driving back and forth for your out of town appointments, emptying your bank account to pay for another round of something or other, sitting in the same spot for an hour because you can't get the nerve to give yourself an injection, or even treating your dogs like they are your children because right now that's all you have. I want to share it all with you. I can guarantee I will probably offend some people, but its all part of the process. I think things in the heat of the moment that I know aren't true. I can say I don't suffer from depression, but going through infertility has definitely opened my eyes and helped me understand it more.

With another retrieval coming in the next few months (I will go into more detail about it then) I want to focus on my health. Eating properly, and getting plenty of exercise. My last retrieval I gained 25 lbs in less than a month. This time I want to be proactive and work on not having the same issues come up. The healthier I am, the easier the whole thing will be.
