The next step

Had an appointment with the doc today. Right now we are just waiting for our approval for a funded IVF cycle (should be getting it either March or April). This IVF will be different from last time because the reason for doing it is to test our embryos. They will be doing PGS, (Preimplantation genetic screening) which is essentially is to screen for numerical chromosomal abnormalities. This can go one of 2 ways. 1. Everything comes back great and we can move on to another embryo transfer, or 2. It comes back bad, and I will never be able to carry Pat and I's child (not to say I won't be able to carry A child).

As of right now I just want to worry about the task at hand before wondering what the step after is. For those of you who are wondering it again would be one of 2 things. We either look into getting an egg donor OR we move onto adoption. Again, not something I am concerning myself with at this time. :)

p.s. I will also be posting our entire backstory this weekend. Since we have been through a lot, it will take me sometime to write!
